Toy Soldiers & Jack
Perhaps not the best idea in a child being a soldier (albeit a toy soldier):
The process in creating this was more pleasing than the result in that…
Jack, who is six, was given these toy soldiers in a party bag and loved playing with them so much that I mentioned this idea to him. From posing in front of the camera to setting up the toys in their positions, he was immediately taken with the process of photography and the subsequent manipulation on the computer. Also took shots of Jack and his train set to do a similar thing, ie. photoshop him onto the station platform as if waiting for the train to arrive. Was good fun!
Photo for my photography class that had to go with the theme, "Childhood Memories".
This picture was taken in the forest behind my grandmother's house. Far back in the woods is a huge crater that was dug out in the ground and used as a junk pile. In this pile are hundreds of my sister's and I's toys from our childhood, along with my father's old toys that his mother threw down there.
Nature is slowly taking it all back.
